Saturday competition tee times will revert to having two sets of starting times. This is due to the increased size in fields over the winter months with more members playing Saturday competition. It will also alleviate the lengthy break after 9 holes which at times can be up to an hour.
- Early tee times will be from 7:30 to 9:01, going in 7 minute intervals allowing for 14 groups (56 players).
- The rest of the field will commence from 11:15 with 16 groups allocated (64 players).
We ask those who play early if they could have the correct change for competition fees as the bar won't be open
that early in the morning.
The only occasions that we won't have split tee times will be Men's Foursomes Day and during the Men's Championship. The Vet's Xmas Hamper Irish Stableford Day is a shotgun start.
With these changes groups should be able to play 18 holes straight through with minimal delay after 9 holes ensuring that a round of golf does not take 6 hours to play.
